105

4.15.18. I grabbed a Grafton brunch with these wacky cuzmos. Even an hour in Cambridge makes me so happy.

104

4.14.18. Congrats to A and E! I spent the day exploring Charlestown, which is officially my new favorite area of Boston. We got pedis, drank excessive amounts of coffee (half of which I spilled at the nail salon after breaking my polish jar), walked for hours, and then gathered to watch these two kiddies tie the knot. So happy for you, and welcome to the family, E! We are really, really crazy.

103

4.13.18. The crew gathered in preparation for A's wedding. K and I both felt the energy and nostalgia of driving into Boston after so many years away.

102

4.12.18. I'm happy to report Jenny has made a "friend", or rather an acquaintance whom she tolerates.

101

4.11.18. Meanwhile, in the life and times of lady bosses, L continues to run DC. Restaurant #20: The Harrow.

4.10.18. Jenny only likes bones if she can steal them from another dog and then eat them while maintaining eye contact with the other dog and also growling at it. Otherwise she shows very little interest in bones as a concept.

99

4.9.18. My mom, the lady boss. Never the loudest but always in the right place, watching and orchestrating history as it happens.

98

4.8.18. I met up with A and M for brunch on the UWS. We made fun of S, missed K, ate a pizza for an appetizer, and discussed how we were dieting shortly before essentially eating a dinner and breakfast back to back. Restaurant #19: Cafe Fiorello.

97

4.7.18. It's hard to believe it was 7 years ago that I was the girl in the office working for this gal in Olympia, WA. We checked off a bucket list item: a tour of old school New York City pizza places. We hit up Joe's on Carmine, John's of Bleecker, and Prince Street Pizza. A little pies, a little slices, a little squares, a LARGE amound of motz and pepps. Restaurant #16, #17, and #18: Joe's, Prince Street Pizza, and Cata.

96

4.6.18. A good message to me for a Tuesday fragrance luncheon.

95

4.5.18. Rosh came to visit yet again! Keep these trainings coming. Here she is getting a very serious call from a very serious boss. Restaurant #15: Anejo.

94

4.4.18. The Willage food odyssey continued as I made my rounds to the Corner Bistro. The last time I ate here was on a full day pub crawl from Boat Basin on 72nd Street to this Willage classic. The food is definitely better after a day of walking and greasing the wheel.

93

4.3.18. Instead of doing work at home, I wandered over to Cowgirl for a solo fajita. Lo and behold, I saw a familiar name on the foot of my receipt... what a career change!

92

4.2.18. Just a little Jack-o-Lantern and his sensible genius Pop-Pop.

91

4.1.18. In celebration of Easter and as a tradition with my mom, we hiked the Billy Goat Trail at Carderock in search of Dutchman's Breeches. These little flowers, cousins of my favorite flower Bleeding Hearts, sneakily pop up at the foot of trees along the Potomac River valley. My mom delights in finding them, hiding like elves in their root nooks.

90

3.31.18. My insanely cute niece and nephew are ready to crush the pre-Easter family brunch. It included a petting zoo, all you can eat chicky fingies, the Easter Rabbit, a ballon animal dude, and face painting.

89

3.30.18. J has been taking swim lessons at the hotel pool at CCP. He enjoys kicking his legs, licking the water instead of blowing bubbles, making jokes with the swim instructor, and giving my mom heart attacks.

88

3.29.18. I ran into this B&B employee at doggie daycare and was horrified to show off my wet hair. She was not surprised.

87

3.28.18. I finally met Miss Sadie! She is a carbon copy of her dad, complete with dimples. Wiggly, blinky, and probably full of spunk like her mom.

86

3.27.18. DD and I received a late but on point selfie burn from our west coast buddies who decided to wine taste in Oregon over coming to NYC for the Jane.

85

3.26.18. My nuggets.

84

3.25.18. Someone's judging me for my New Girl marathon.

83

3.24.18. I am a lucky, lucky girl. My New York family made me feel so incredibly special for my 35th birthday. I never thought I would have my best night in the Jane Hotel before 11pm and in my mid-30s. Restaurant #14: Left Bank.

82

3.23.18. DD flew all the way to New York for my birthday. I am so lucky to have friends that would come all that way so we could send aggressive text message selfie burns to the unexpecting masses!

81

3.22.18. Birthday dinner with my Kiehl's fam at Raoul's. We only overpowered a small number of people with our loud anecdotes, we signed messages on the paper table cloth, we ordered 6 Steak Frites and an Artichoke starter, and M only made fun of my fashion sense once.

80

3.21.18. Nothing beats a visit from Rosh and a snowstorm in March... and nachos from Bayard's!

79

3.20.18. Jenny has started this adorable habit of insisting that we personally greet every doorman on the way in and out of my building.
