5.8.18. Sometimes when I'm walking home, I notice a building from an old TV memory. This is the theater where Joey Tribiani performs his space play with the woman he falls in love with who soon leaves for LA. I've walked by this a million times but only now realized where I knew it from. New York constantly makes worlds collide - even if they are make-believe worlds. Restaurant #24: Suprema Provision.

5.7.18. A cool 6 months after we won tickets at the SNL Gringo Bingo (money for PR), M and I finally made it to watch the Seth Meyers show tape. As you can tell from the above photo, we were dazzled by the show's photoshop capabilities. Seth did a great set and also took 10min in the middle of the show to answer questions. M rightly pointed out that I should have asked for the stage manager's number, hubba hubba! Restaurant #23: Limani.

5.6.18. I finally made it up to the One World Trade observation deck. The best part is absolutely the elevator. You see the entire history of New York spring up around you as you ascend to the top of the building. I wish I could have ridden it up and down just to watch it over and over again! Restaurant #22: Le Gigot.

5.4.18. L came to town and sold out all her paintingz at a gorgeous art show on Canal Street! Hard to believe it was 13 years ago that we lived in a top floor Cambridge apartment with no washing machine, a corgi, and all her art. Afterwards, K and I tried out the Nolita Tacombe... it was just as perfect, minus the fact that no one knew us there.

4.28.18. K and I peeled up north to hike Sam's Point Preserve. It's a plateau with scraggly vegetation, sneaky views, and a waterfall. Afterwards, we brewery hopped from the Hudson Valley Brewery (weird fruity but yummy beer mixtures) and then Newburgh Brewery. Newburgh reminded me of Charlottesville - an old loft brick building, converted from a manufacturing plant of some sort, full of live music and friendly people.

4.23.18. One of my bucket list items was to find a restaurant where I could become a Regular. I had wanted the restaurant to be someplace killer like Raoul's, but it turns out tacos, guac, and the best corn you'll ever eat have a far greater appeal on the reg than steak frites. Plus there's outdoor seating where Jenny can sit on the curb and unnecessarily aggress other dogs.

4.20.18. At the last minute, we headed north to the Hudson Valley. The house (mansion) had several quirks to it... included the fact that it was definitely haunted, the owners had left white crystals all over the place, there was a meditation room, half the furniture was of the Bean Bag genus, and it had been abandoned for decades after Eleanor Roosevelt used it to teach kids stuff (I didn't read the Wikipedia that well).
